The lads in the office are bored stiff of hearing me say it but I’m going to say it again, I don’t work Wednesdays and what better way to spend the day than riding the Yamaha Fazer8.

Along with a couple of mates and my hubby we planned a 300 miles round trip to a brilliant bike meet. Further to my request a few weeks ago some of you lovely blog readers have sent in ideas of tip top places to visit. This week, with the weather being so great, I took a look at Terry Perez’s recommendation, and head further afield to a meet over in the Cotswolds.

Cotswold Biker’s Nite are regular events and yesterdays was held at the Imperial Gardens in Cheltenham. We found Cheltenham wasn’t the easiest place to navigate but as I’d been advised there would be in the region of 1500 bikes at the meet decided to take a chance and follow half a dozen bikes, who fortunately, were heading in the right direction.

The Imperial Gardens are situated smack bang in the middle of Cheltenham and on every available inch of pavement bordering them were a fantastic array of bikes. I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening, with good mates, an iced beverage in hand and a cracking mix of bikes to view.

Details of all the forthcoming events can be found on http://www.bikersnite.com/ and the next one is planned for July 24 at a waterpark in Tewkesbury, if you get the chance have a ride over, you won’t be disappointed.
