Freddie Spencer’s Championship bikes for sale

i`m 45 and i can remember the gpz1100 i had and it was a tank plus the rd350ypvs,rose tinted goggles are great cos they were shit handling and stopping bikes.....i can only imagine how bad the bikes were in the seventies!!!.......i`d love to see a young fast lad on 1 of the latest sports 600`s try out a bike like the gpz or gs......i think he`d get off after the first corner to see who had taken the front discs away and the suspension!!!........those racers were racing bikes that didn`t want to do what the racer wanted,not like now where the bike goes where u want it to without even trying.....thank the lord for progress as we are now in an age of the perfect bike,all the sportsbikes since 2003 are now on a plateau of perfection any sportsbike 600cc upwards are now more or less the same performance wise.......u can buy a 3 grand 600rr and u won`t go faster on the road if u bought the bmw with 180bhp great times.......while the petrol lasts!!!!

I think younger people don't realise just how good the likes of spencer and lawson were. I'd put them up there with the best of any era. I'd probally say spencer was the most naturally gifted rider ever. However, we all know thats not everything as his two titles compared to the less naturally gifted lawsons four titles goes to show.

Imagine turning up with those bikes at a track day! lol

He must be needing money.  Don't know what he's been doing since his school in Vegas folded due to financial difficulties.

I'd love to have the triple though.
