This Lucky Strike Schwantz rep. 2007 GSX-R1000 was stolen on Friday, April 8th, 2011 from Palmer’s Motorcycles in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

The rare and collectable machine was parked outside the store when thieves made off with the bike, pushing it down the road.

Palmer’s salesman Jason Fuller told MCN: “There was a van parked between the bike and the store and we believe the driver and thieves were working as a team. The police are currently out looking for the GSX-R on their own bikes, but if anyone in the area has any information please get in touch with us or the authorities.”

He added: “Whoever stole it obviously doesn’t know anything about bikes as it’s so distinctive that you couldn’t ever sell it.”

Painted in Schwantz’s Lucky Strike GP livery, the bike is also signed by the former champ. It was ridden by the American at the 2007 TT centenary celebrations and is valued at £8999.

Anyone with any information should contact Palmer’s Motorcycles on 01442 289033 or Hertfordshire Constabulary on: 0845 3300 222

£500 reward now being offered for information leading to the return of the bike. Contact Palmer’s for details
