Metropolis Motorcycles has three branches located in London, each with their own areas of expertise to cater for the city biker’s every need – and the big news is that at the flagship Vauxhall showroom has added Honda to its prestigious range of brands.

The centrally located Vauxhall store – which is currently holding an end of season sale with big reductions – is the jewel in the company’s crown. With 20,000 square feet of showroom displaying a huge range of different brands, Metropolis Motorcycles could easily be mistaken for a bike show.

In addition to the new Honda range, inside the giant store you’ll find models from Ducati, Gilera, Kawasaki, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha and Vespa.

The North London branch, in Barnet, now houses the new used bike centre as well as the renowned Honda dealership. A major refit is underway here too, with Ducati and Yamaha franchises going live during January.

The Greenwich site in South London is the place to head if you’re looking for a scooter, holding Kawasaki, Gilera, Piaggio, Vespa and Yamaha franchises.

Each of the stores has an expert brand manager for each manufacturer franchise. At the Vauxhall branch, the company believe they can provide truly impartial advice, due to having so many brands under one roof. Each branch has a wide range of demo bikes available for you to try before you buy.

And once you’ve found your bike, the award-winning clothing department can kit you out in brands such as Arai, Alpinestars, Belstaff, Dainese, Ducati, Side, Triumph and more. On top of the range of riding kit, a newly-opened lifestyle department offers a selection of motorcycle-branded casual wear for those occasions when you’re not riding.

Don’t despair if you live too far away from London to visit – Metropolis Motorcycles have an online shop too: www.metropolismotorcycles.com.

The dealership has its own in-house training school, which caters for everyone from the complete novice wanting to take their CBT, to existing riders looking to improve their skills with an advanced riding course or the newly accredited, Driving Standards Agency approved ERS training scheme. From now until the end of January, they are offering CBTs at a discounted rate of £100 (available seven days a week).
