Celebrating the Victory way

1 of 1

Victory Motorcycles celebrate their 15th Anniversary on July 4 and as part of the celebration, the American firm released its latest bike, the Cross Country Tour Limited.

Victory fans will celebrate this event further with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally next month and the forthcoming American Victory Rally at Spirit Lake, Iowa, where the first Victory was built.

The first production Victory motorcycle was built on July 4 1998. The first prototype, the V92C, had its debut in the Planet Hollywood restaurant, ridden in by the two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser Jr. at a press conference in ’97.

The anniversary celebrations mark the many milestones on what was dubbed the ‘Road to Victory’ early on in production. These include the assembly of the ‘Hammer’ engine, the first gathering of Victory riders at Spirit Lake, the Victory Vegas, the creation of the Victory Vision and the High Ball.

UK Sales and Marketing Manager Lee Frankish said, “we also look ahead to the unlimited potential of our exciting future” adding “wait till you see what we’ve got planned for the years ahead.”
