Milan Show: New 2010 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 Evo SP

Today is the final set-up day before the Milan Bike Show opens to the world’s press tomorrow.

On the off-chance I might see some new bikes I managed to sneak in, and have just seen the new Ducati Hypermotard 1100.

The full name on the display plinth was Ducati Hypermotard 1100 Evo SP, though Ducati security covered the bike in a sheet before I could see exactly how the bike has changed from this year’s Hypermotard S.

It’s likely the bike will be a higher-spec version, replacing the Hypermotard S, to compete with the KTM 990 SM and BMW HP2 Megamoto.
