Which manufacturer has the best bike range?

1 of 1

In next week’s MCN, technical expert Kevin Ash discusses how Kawasaki has methodically rejuvenated its range of bikes, so that it now has an impressive model in almost every category.

So if you were to rate each of the major manufacturers’ ranges, who would come out top? Here’s a quick summary of how they stack up – there wasn’t space to include all the bikes in all the ranges, so feel free to point out ones we should have put in.

MCN’s road testers have also rated what they think is the top three in each category – marked in red. Where we’ve yet to conduct a group test (eg 600s and 1000s), we’ve taken our best guess.

So what do you think? Which manufacturer most needs to invest in their R&D department?

Read Kevin Ash’s verdict in MCN next Wednesday, out January 19.
