Aprilia's new four-stroke RS4 125 will come with an optional quickshifter priced at £99, the Italian firm has announced.
Offering the "fun and involvement of split-second clutchless upshifting on a 125cc motorcycle", the move mimics the raft of WSB-grade technology available on the larger capacity RSV4 R APRC.
With a liquid-cooled DOHC engine, USD forks, a quick-release pillion seat cowl, underslung exhaust and the maximum 15bhp allowed for learner-legal bikes, Aprilia is hoping the RS4 will challenge Honda's CBR125R, Yamaha's YZF-R125 and other leading 125cc sports machines.
Due in dealerships in July 2011, the RS4 125 will be priced at £3999 OTR.
