Harley-Davidson Rocker revealed

1 of 2

Taking inspiration from the custom chopper scene, Harley-Davidson has created a whole new line of bikes in its Softail range – the Rockers.

Two Rockers will be offered in the 2008 range, the standard £12,755 Rocker and the £14,225 Rocker C.

Both versions gain a massive 240-section rear rubber and a new “Rockertail” version of the Softail rear end designed to hold a rear fender that hugs the back tyre.

The basic Rocker features a single seat and satin alloy effect for the oil tank, forks, instrument panel and bars.

The higher-spec Rocker C gets chrome forks and wheels, plus a colour-matched oil tank and swingarm, with flame graphics on the tank and hugger. It also gets Harley’s new “Trick” seat arrangement, which looks like a small single seat, but features a fold-out pillion pad stored underneath, which allows it to carry a passenger, who appears to hover over the back wheel.
