Unique Jefferies replica R1 could be yours

1 of 22

You could become the proud owner of this one-off V&M liveried R1, created in memory of Isle of Man TT rider David Jefferies.

Jefferies was the dominant rider in road racing until his death in 2003, and this bike is inspired by the machine he rode to victory in the 2000 Senior race, which broke the 125mph lap record en route to one of three race wins at the TT that year.

The replica was commisioned by David’s father, Tony Jefferies, to raise money for the David Jefferies Memorial Foundation.

For a chance to own the bike, a prize draw system has been set up in conjunction with MCN> You can enter the draw, or make a pledge by telephone (01733-887388), by SMS message (text DJBIKE to 80556, along withj your name and postcode) or online at www.davidjefferiesracing.com. The lucky rcipient will be announced at the final round of the BSB championship on October 14, 2007.
