This official video from Aprilia shows the Mana 850 finally going into production after many years of development.
The Piaggio-designed 850 v-twin has a semi-automatic gearbox, which can also be switched to a fully automatic mode (like a scooter). The automatic gearbox also has two settings - a touring mode for relaxed riding with earlier gear-changes, and a sport mode which allows the engine to rev higher.
An Aprilia employee talks you through the production stages, but unfortunately it's only in Italian!
You can still see the Aprilia Mana 850 taking shape, and at the end of the clip you're treated to a completed motorcycle being tested in all modes on the factory dyno.
