MCN has just put the first 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R on a dyno, and the new bike makes a genuine 170bhp at the rear wheel!
Torque is impressive too, making 80.24lbft at 8500rpm. To put the figure into perspective, a 2008 R1 tested back-to-back on the same dyno made 162bhp and 79.29lbft of torque at 9500rpm.
MCN is about to begin testing the new Kawasaki ZX-10R against the 2008 model R1.
You can see the first verdict in next week’s MCN, out Wednesday January 16.
