Ewan McGregor’s Moto Guzzi for sale

Ewan McGregor is selling his Moto Guzzi California to raise money for children’s charity UNICEF.

McGregor picked the bike up personally from the Moto Guzzi factory and rode it back to the UK, but is now selling the bike to raise funds to help children’s projects around the world. His statement on the auction reads:

“Hello, I’m Ewan McGregor, a UNICEF Ambassador, and I’m donating my Moto Guzzi motorcycle to UNICEF for auction on eBay. It’s the first of its kind in this colour and one of my favourite bikes. I collected this bike from the Moto Guzzi factory in Italy and rode it back to London. I’ve loved riding it ever since and I know that you will too.

“As a UNICEF Ambassador, I’ve been greatly privileged to visit a number of incredibly inspiring UNICEF projects and see the impact of its work on children and their families. Only one person will end up owning my motorbike but I would urge everyone visiting this site to make a donation to UNICEF. You have the ability to help ensure that UNICEF continues its vital work protecting children when disasters occur.”
