Fuel prices down at supermarket forecourts

Up to three pence a litre is being taken of petrol by several supermarkets.

Morrisons were the first to slash three pence off a litre of both petrol and diesel at all of its 285 stores yesterday and now Asda is following suit with three pence off petrol and two pence off diesel today.

Tesco is continuing to offer five pence off a litre of petrol or diesel with the offer carrying on until Sunday, September 28.

BP are also set to cut prices by three pence a litre at most of its forecourts, although it’s not confirmed exactly when this will happen
