My SV650s Is Ossumm....
I can honnestly say i have done eveything a "first bike" should do with an under 25 rider.
-> a dozen trackdays, now an inters-only rider
-> a massive trip to germany and back, over 1300 miles in 5 days.
-> gone to metal festivals
-> done a hand-ful of rallies
-> gone spontanious camping
-> went to see BSB 's
-> easilly out-do litre bike riders on track and on the road - under the speed limits, of course ;-)
-> go through 4 sets of knee sliders and 1 set of ceramic toe sliders a year.
WINNER .... get one for a first bike, fit decent sports touring rubber, a cheeky race pipe, a race air filter and finally, fit some WSBK (WSS) spec brake pads and boom.
Who needs to do 120mph down a straight boring motorways when im doing 120mph on the exit of Gerards at Mallory park???
SV650s = RD250 of the modern world
I seriously mean that.
I should be racing next year XD
