Video: Rossi talks on the 2009 Yamaha R1

In an arty black and white promotional video, Fiat Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi talks about the 2009 Yamaha R1 and how it’s ‘Born From MotoGP’.

In the official Yamaha video, Rossi has this to say on the 2009 R1’s new powerplant: “this engine with the crossplane crankshaft gives an easy link between me and the bike, and at the same time provides alot of power with great control”.

The clip also features some great shots of the bike in action on track, but it’s worth watching if only for the soundtrack, which consists mainly of the new bike’s howling engine note.
