Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather can be easily applied to wet or dry leather footwear using the sponge applicator or rubbed in by hand.

It's available from all good outdoor stores in 60ml (£2.99) and 100ml (£3.99) sizes and the makers say it's guaranteed to help you wave goodbye to soggy socks.

The wax contains no propellant gases and contains no fluorocarbons and is not tested on animals.
