Russian racing ladies Nadia Yakhnich and Nataliya Lyubimova are wearing Spyke one-piece leather suits during the 2010 season and will be giving feedback to the Italian brand to help them develop their range of female rider clothing.

They’re members of the first female-only European Championship race team.

Already available for lady riders on the road is the Blaster two-piece leather suit (£549.99), with CE-approved armour throughout and flex zones to shoulders, legs and back for maximum freedom of movement.   

Alternatively there’s the Dea Evo leather jacket (£239.99) for sports and city riding, and the claimed waterproof and breathable Luxy Lady Jacket (£159.99) for the all-weather rider.
