Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 Factory (2010-current)

The engine remains unchanged on the Factory version which means you get 92bhp and 60.5ftlb or torque from the Aprilia Shiver derived 750 V-Twin engine. It’s really responsive, revs quickly and has enough punch on the road, enough for a top speed around the 135mph mark. Aprilia have also included an engine management switch which enables you to choose between, Sports, Touring or Rain mode. 

The standard Dorsoduro is a little on the soft side the rear sits a little too much on the power, but not any more thanks to the new up-rated suspension. The Factory version has much less sag, both the front and rear are much stiffer, feels very hard. Up front the suspension is all new, 43mm Sachs items which are now fully adjustable unlike the standard version.

The Factory shares the same multi functional clocks which first appeared on the Pegaso. There is a mode switch on the left handlebar which enables you to scroll through the informative screen, there is even a lap timer built in which records max speed, even fuel consumption.
