Chris Walker gets BSB Kawasaki

Chris Walker will race a new Kawasaki ZX-10R in BSB this year with backing from haulage firm Enviro and precision engineering company R&G.

Both businesses are based in Northampton and the team will run under the name of Pr1mo (pronounced primo), a new brand of high performance motorcycle parts that R&G are busy developing.

Walker is re-united with engine tuner Ray Stringer, who will look after the preparation of the bike while Enviro owner Dan Cheevers will manage the team.

Walker said: “I’m really happy with my lot. It’s a new team, new sponsors and a new bike but it’s got the right people behind it and I think we can do a good job.”

“We’ve been working on this project for some time but it’s all been finalised late in the day. It’s like a gift from heaven.”
