Donington BSB: Josh Brookes claims pole position

Tyco TAS Suzuki rider Josh Brookes has claimed his third pole position of the season at Donington Park today, edging out Showdown hopeful Alex Lowes.

The pair were the riders to beat throughout the three qualifying sessions, trading places at the top of the timesheets several times.

Reigning champion and championship leader Tommy Hill will start from the third on the grid, with Samsung Honda’s Jon Kirkham completing the front row.

The second row comprises of James Westmoreland, Tommy Bridewell, Michael Rutter and Luca Scassa.

Showdown contenders Noriyuki Haga and Ian Lowry both failed to break in to the top 10, qualifying 12th and 14th respectively.
