Reigning MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez has just kicked off Honda’s preparations for the 2015 world championship at the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic.

The Spaniard, who is undefeated in the first nine races of 2014, has just completed his first laps on the first prototype version of next year’s RC213V machine, which has undergone extensive testing in Japan with development rider Kousuke Akiyoshi.

Marquez completed his first exit on the 2015 RC213V shortly after 1130am local time in Brno and took to the track just minutes after a second crash in two days on his current Factory Honda machine.

Marquez fell unhurt at turn five, which is the same corner he fell at in mixed conditions yesterday.

Marquez has been unbeatable in 2014 and he will return from the summer break in Indianapolis next month with a commanding 77-point lead over Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa.
