Silverstone BSB: Tom Sykes disqualified from race one results

Rizla Suzuki rider Tom Sykes has been excluded from the race one results at Silverstone after he collided with Leon Haslam.

Sykes was lying in third plae on lap three when he tried to pass Haslam who was first going in to the final chicane.

Sykes was unable to stop in enough time and ran straight into Haslam, with both of them crashing.

The incident mirrors the Oulton Park incident between the two riders where Leon Haslam collided with Tom Sykes. Haslam had his points from that race removed.

As well as being docked his points from race one Sykes will have to start 12 places back from his qualifying position on the grid for race two.
