1 of 1

Scott Redding has continued his impressive start to the inaugural Indianapolis race by claiming second on the provisional 125GP grid.

The Blusens Aprilia rider once again impressively mastered tricky conditions to claim second with a best time of 1.58.884. The British rookie was also second in this morning’s opening free practice session.

Redding, who won the British GP earlier this year, was just 0.393s off claiming provisional pole position, which went to Lorenzo Zanetti.

Andrea Iannone, who was fastest in this morning’s session, ended third quickest as rain dominated the opening day in Indiana.

Bradley Smith claimed a place on the provisional second row as he took the eighth best time. The Polaris World Aprilia rider posted a best time of 2.00.723, while Danny Webb was left down in 20th as he clocked a quickest time of 2.03.087.
