Monza World Superbikes: Jeremy McWilliams to race in Suzuki GSX-R Cup

Grand Prix veteran Jeremy McWilliams will race in this weekend’s Suzuki GSXR-Cup support race at the ultra fast Monza circuit.

McWillians a former 250GP winner has been tempted back on track after spending the Valencia weekend helping out fellow Brit Grant Molloy who also competes in the class and will ride alongisde Malloy with Team Suzuki GB.

He will fill in for former British superbike rider Tommy Bridewell, who broke his leg in the opening round of the championship at Mugello three weeks ago.

McWilliams will join fellow veteran Fabrizio Pirovano who is a regular in the class riding as a wild card and is usually a front runner.

Jeremy McWilliams isn’t due at the circuit until Friday (May 9, 2008) when MCN will gain his reaction to competing in the competitive class.
