Help Guzzi choose its future models

1 of 1

Moto Guzzi needs your help to decide which models it will release in the future.

The Italian company is conducting a European wide survey asking riders to pick the style of bike they want to see and which engine they would like in it.

” Customer feedback is very important to us, ” said a Moto Guzzi spokesperson, ” we will be basing our future models on this, we want to know what bikers want so we can give it to them. ”

Guzzi is looking at six new styles of bikes, a naked bike, tourer, dragster, custom, sport-tourer and supersport and five types of engine. While two of them retain Guzzi’s traditional 90-degree longitudinal V format the others include a radical 90-degree V6, a triple and a 120-degree V-twin. And every one is liquid-cooled, so it looks like Euro-wide emissions laws have finally killed off the famous Guzzi air-cooled motors.

Engine options:

Engine 1: Liquid cooled, in-line triple. Capacity: Between 750 and 1000cc. Power: 80 to 120bhp.

Engine 2: Liquid cooled 90-degree V six cylinder. Capacity: 1000cc Power: 120 to 160bhp.

Engine 3: Liquid cooled 120-degree V-twin. Capacity: 750 to 1000cc. Power: 80 to 120bhp.

Engine 4: Liquid cooled 90-degree longitudinal V-twin. Capacity: 1000 to 1300cc. Power: 80 to 120bhp.

Engine 5: Liquid cooled 90-degree longitudinal V-four. Capacity: 1200-1400cc. Power: 90 to 130bhp

Bike options:

Supersport: In-line triple / V-six / 120-degree V-twin

Naked: In-line triple / 120-degree V-twin / Longitudinal V-twin
