X-Men ride at Haslam School

X-Men actors James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult made a surprise appearance at the Honda Ron Haslam Race School last week.

The Hollywood stars didn’t give their full names when they booked on to the school, so Haslam staff and customers alike, were astonished to see them when they signed on to Premier Course last Wednesday at Donington Park.

Riding Honda CBR600RRs they also did some pillion laps with ex-500GP legend Ron Haslam on a Honda Fireblade. Haslam says: “It was great to have some A-list actors come to the school and even more so that they love bikes. They where both great, down to earth guys, they loved the school and the pillion ride. I’ve invited them back to do the Elite Course on the Fireblade and they both jumped at it.”

There are still Premier and Elite spaces available for the rest of the year, including spots on the new-rider-friendly On-Track course.
