Disabled trike insurance

1 of 1

Conquest Trikes are fast, stunning looking machines.  Built around a BMW 1150, they’re probably the sexiest vehicles ever designed for disabled users.

The first high performance trike that can be driven from a wheelchair, it’s a British success that’s selling all over the world.

Now Conquest has teamed up with Bikesure to make sure their UK customers get a better deal on insurance.

Bikesure insures more trikes than anyone else in the UK and they reckon they can do it more cheaply than anyone else, too.

So when one of the Bikesure team saw a letter concerning the high cost of insuring Conquest Trikes, he decided to do something about it. Charlie Mitchell, Conquest’s national sales and marketing manager, said: “Wheelchair users want excitement and speed as much as anyone else.

“Our Trike is a beautiful beast that’s very stable but also fast: 0-60 in under seven seconds.”

Considerations have also been given for limited mileage and club membership and no claims bonuses can be transferred from other policies.

For example a 30 year old male living in Coventry with a clean licence and 3 years NCB could expect to pay around £385.

A 40 year old female living in rural Norfolk, with 5 years NCB and 3 points, would pay around £265.
