Ewan McGregor has a break from motorcycle adventures

If Charley Boorman is planning anymore globe-trotting motorcycle adventures in the near future, it looks like he’ll have to do without his pal Ewan McGregor after the actor told the BBC that he’d be taking a break from Long Way-style rides.

Ewan McGregor said the Long Way Round and Long Way Down were like a tonic for the soul, but that the amount of planning involved along with the time it takes to actually do the riding means taking another trip would be too much of a commitment for the time being.

However, the Scottish-born actor didn’t rule out doing another long-distance ride in the future.
