Fourth man found guilty of Hells Angel’s murder

A fourth man has been found guilty of murdering Hells Angel Gerry Tobin.

Dean Taylor, 47, from Coventry, was found guilty by unanimous verdict at Birmingham crown court. He was also convicted of possessing a shotgun. 

Malcolm Bull, 53, a road sweeper from Milton Keynes, was convicted yesterday of murder and possessing a shotgun. Simon Turner, 41, from Nuneaton, and Dane Garside, 42, from Coventry, were found guilty of murder and firearms offences on Monday.

A fourth man, Sean Creighton, 44, pleaded guilty to murder at an earlier hearing.
The jury has yet to return verdicts on two other defendants, both of whom have denied murder and firearms offences.

Tobin, 35, was killed by a single bullet to the back of the neck on August 12 last year while riding between junctions 12 and 13 of the M40 southbound carriageway. He had attended the Bulldog Bash at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford.

A second bullet struck his motorcycle, a Harley-Davidson FXSTB Night Train.

The Hells Angel was from Canada but had spent the last 10 years in the UK. He lived in London, where he worked as a mechanic for Warr’s Harley-Davidson.
