Harley-Davidson ice XR1200

Harley-Davidson has taken note of the freezing temperatures today and launched an ice sculpture of the XR1200.

The American manufacturer has enlisted the skills of 1988 Olympian Tom Queoff who managed to create the model in freezing conditions and with hand tools in just three days.

The sculpture is now outside Harley-Davidson’s Milwaukee headquarters where it will remain until it thaws out.

The flat-track inspired XR1200 is to have its own racing series this year with former MCN test rider Adam Child, GP500 Skoal Bandit Suzuki works rider and Daytona Twins winner Paul Lewis and Hollyoaks actor Stuart Manning already signed up to take part.
