BMW have officially revealed their new S1000RR at the Monza WSB round in Italy. MCN’s Phil West is at the unveiling and has sent back initial images and details on the new machine.

BMW have announced that the new bike makes a whopping 193bhp. The S1000RR is also set to feature four-stage ABS and race-derived traction control.

The S1000RR is not due to go on sale until the end of the year and BMW have yet to reveal the price, but they claim it will be competitive with the Japanese competition. It will be available in three colours – black, white or metallic lime green.

MCN will be reporting back with more news, pictures and video later on today.
