MZ’s new 250cc race bike revealed

MZ has revealed its new 250cc prototype race bike as a work-in-progress at the Zschopau factory in Germany.

The new machine uses a steel tubular frame based on 125 two-stroke GP bike dimensions, and will eventually house MZ’s own 250cc four-stroke, four-valve single.

MZ will also sell the engine to other manufacturers as a means of extra income.

The bike shown houses a KTM four-stroke engine for the purposes of developing the
