The Kawasaki KX250F gained a maiden UK victory in the hands of 24-year-old Carl Nunn on Sunday September 21.

The four-stroke 250 was racing for the first time in the UK at the final round of the KWS motocross series in Bridgnorth and took first place in both motos. The bike was developed jointly by Kawasaki and Suzuki and was essentially a stock bike.

The first race saw Nunn move past KTM rider Tom Church on lap five to take the first win. Third place went to KTM’s Wayne Smith. The second moto followed the same pattern, with Nunn taking the flag with a 10 second lead over second-placed Church. This time the Yamaha 250F of Adam Lyons took the final podium place.
