Harris resting up for qualifying

Hydrex Honda’s Karl Harris is still recovering from a nasty bout of food poisoning and cut his final free practice session short to rest for the Swan Combi 50 Roll for Pole qualifying session.

He finished in second place during third free practice and worked hard to catch up on time lost yesterday.

His Crew Chief, Mick Shanley said: “He’s like brand new today; he is feeling a lot better just a bit weak due to not eating yesterday. We worked hard on set-up early on and he was quite comfortable. We put in different forks which improved feel through turn one and the hairpin. He didn’t do the full session but he was happy with where he was and we hope to carry that through into qualifying and the race.”
