Tommy with Worx Suzuki

Tommy Hill lines up with Yukio Kagayama in the Worx Suzuki BSB team next year.
Hill was at Crescent Suzuki in Verwood last Thursday to sign his 2010 contract with the team and told MCN:

“I had a lot of interest in me but it all came down to two main options, Hydrex Honda or Worx Suzuki. I opted for Suzuki because I felt it offered better long-term career prospects riding for a team with factory connections.”

For Hill it’s just reward for his dedication and determination, coming back from breaking his femur twice – after a pre-season crash testing in November 2007, then again in his first race back nine months later at Nurburgring – and then overcoming the abject disappointment of his WSB deal that went sour this year.

Hill made a sensational return to BSB firstly with Worx Suzuki and then on a Hydrex Honda – finishing the year with a flourish at Oulton Park with a second, third and fourth in the triple-header that closed the season.

Worx Suzuki boss Jack Valentine said: “Tommy did a great job when he rode for us this year. He’s young but brings a lot of experience and to bounce back after two really bad years like he has with injuries and disappointments and still be at the top of his game is something special.”
