Ellsemere Port-based Jenny Tinmouth has begun pre-season testing, as she starts her 2014 MCE British Superbike campaign ahead of official testing tomorrow (Tuesday) at Donington Park.

Testing her TWR Honda at her home track of Oulton Park, Tinmouth, the most successful female BSB racer ever, says she was after an opportunity to get back on a racebike ahead of the start of official testing and the BSB season.

“It was good to test yesterday as we just wanted to get out and blow the winter cobwebs off. We had a rebuilt motor that we wanted to run in, which we were able to do and then also a new swingarm to test so we had plenty to start with! I just wanted to get some laps under our belt really before the next test and then of course the first races at Brands Hatch!”

Testing tomorrow at Donington and next Tuesday and Wednesday (8th and 9th April) at Snetterton are open to the public, with a £5 admission fee for Donington and free entry for Snetterton.
