Knockhill British Superbikes: Torrential rain plays havoc with timetable

1 of 2

Torrential rain has hit the Knockhill circuit again this afternoon causing havoc with the timetable for the latest round of the British Superbike Championship

Organisers managed to get the British Superbike riders out for race one after a delay of 55 minutes, which was won by HM Plant Honda’s Jonathan Rea.

But the Scottish circuit is struggling with the conditions as it began to rain heavily again just before the end of the British Superbike race.

A decision has already been made to cancel the Virgin Media R6 Cup and Metzeler Racetec National Superstock races and race officials are now meeting to descide what to do with the rest of the timetable.
