Brands Hatch British Superbikes: Bradley Smith pays BSB a visit

Looking like he was still dressed for the sunny Spanish conditions after returning from last weekend’s 125 GP race at Jerez, Bradley Smith took time out to visit Brands Hatch for this weekend’s British Superbike season opener.

“I’m a bit cold actually,” Smith told MCN as he stood in his shorts.

“I should have known better – I spend most of my time in the UK so next time I’ll dress appropriately.

“I’m here for a quiet look just for today and am keeping a low profile.

“It’s good to come and see what’s going on in British racing and now I’m just looking forward to flying out for Estoril on Wednesday.”

Bradley Smith is heading into the Portuguese MotoGP with a third place finish on his mantle from Jerez, and he says he’s looking to continue his positive progression for the next race.

“We’ve had two poles so I’m definitely going for three in a row.

“We seem to be fairing really well in qualifying but the problem is with the race.

“Jerez was the first time I’ve done a race distance with the bike so we’ll be looking to take the information gained form last weekend to replicate our qualifying form into the race.”
