British Superbikes Almeria test: Cal Crutchlow crashes out of test

Cal Crutchlow will sat out a lot of today’s final Pirelli test at Almeria after suffering a big highside earlier today.

According to the HM Plant team manager Harvey Beltram, Cal Crutchlow lost the back end accelerating up hill toward the tight chicane and closed the throttle but when the rear gripped he was spat over the bars.

“Cal is going to chill out for the rest of the day before we go onto Guadix later in the week,” said Beltram.

“He hit his head and has a few scuffs on his leg and arm but he is fine.”
