Chris ‘Teach’ McNeil wins Stuntwars ’08; Chris Pfeiffer crashes

Chris Pfeiffer crashed during the final of the Suntwars competition for the second year on the trot yesterday, preventing him from retaking the title he won back in 2006.

The BMW backed German rider who has a whole list of stunt competition wins to his name could only manage a sixth position at the USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida.

With Pfeiffer crashing and AC Farias failing to qualify, the door was left wide open for US riders to dominate the standings.

HAI team rider Chris ‘Teach’ McNeil took the overall win with 95 points, beating Warped Toys rider Bill D who also had an off and 16 year old phenomenon Aaron Colton, also of team HAI, who was riding with two broken bones in one hand.

Over 90 riders took part in the event, all competing for just 13 places in the grand final.
