MotoGP: James Toseland's mum set to marry

James Toseland’s mum, Jane is set to re-marry at the end of the year to long term partner Steven Oates.

The pair spent New Year in Rome and Steven proposed in style when he popped the big question just before midnight on the famous Spanish steps of Piazza di Spagna.

James Toseland said: “I’m really chuffed for them, Steven is a great guy and they’re really happy together.

“Once I heard the news I threw a surprise party for them which went down well.

“They haven’t set a definite date yet but I think it will be later this year once the season is over.”
