Croft British Supersport: Hudson Kennaugh pole

1 of 1

Hudson Kennaugh has taken his third pole position of the season at Croft for round ten of the British Supersport Championship.

Kennaugh, who lies second in the standings behind Glen Richards, set a best time this afternoon of 1.22.028.

The South African lies 37-points behind Richards in the Championship and will need a repeat performance tomorrow to keep his title hopes alive.

The Raceways Yamaha rider and Glen Richards will be split on the grid tomorrow though by the ever impressive James Westmoreland.

Westmoreland, one of the series’ up and coming prospects after graduating from 125’s, was only 0.057 off Kennaugh on his Centurion Racing Honda.

Ian Lowry completed the front row on his Relentless Suzuki with himself, Richards and Kennaugh all in search of their third wins of the season.

And if you’re looking for Steve Brogan’s name, he had a big highside during the Superstock 1000 qualifying period the session before and missed second qualifying for Supersport and will start from 22nd.
