Jorge Lorenzo tests 2013 Yamaha YZR-M1 in Brno

Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo has made his debut on Yamaha’s factory 2013 YZR-M1 prototype machine at the Brno circuit today.

Lorenzo started the one-day test lapping on his current YZR-M1 1000cc machine before he switched to the new bike at the mid-morning point.

The bike was in full black carbon bodywork but featured a new chassis and fuel tank.

Lorenzo will be joined by Valentino Rossi again in 2013. The Italian has signed a two-year contract to return to Yamaha after a nightmare spell with Ducati.
