Jack Miller set for Moto2 move with Marc VDS?

Rising Aussie star Jack Miller is on the brink of clinching a Moto2 move to the high profile Marc VDS Racing squad for 2015.

MCN understands the current Moto3 world championship leader, who crashed out of podium contention on the final lap in Mugello earlier this month, has a pre-contract agreement in place with the Belgium squad, which currently fields Spaniard Tito Rabat and Finn Mika Kallio.

Talks are on-going with Miller but confirmation of his Moto2 switch could be confirmed imminently, with the Marc VDS Racing squad not ruling out an expansion to a three-rider line-up in 2015 to accommodate the highly-rated 19-year-old.

Marc VDS Racing boss Michael Bartholemy told MCN: “We have an agreement with him for next year but have to discuss the details. Jack is a big talent and it would be great to have him in our team.”

Miller has emerged as one of the brightest future prospects after winning three of the opening six Moto3 races for the Red Bull KTM squad to lead the series by five points from Mugello winner Romano Fenati.
