Norton sign Cameron Donald to race TT

1 of 1

After originally planning to sit out 2014, former Isle of Man TT winner Cameron Donald has instead signed a deal to compete at the event on Norton’s Aprilia powered SG2 machine.

With a huge amount of development carried out on the V4 machine sinse last year, Donald says new R&D rider Steve plater was a key element of the deal.

“At the end of last year’s TT I hadn’t expected to come back in 2014, despite a lot of offers. But talking to [Norton CEO] Stuart Garner, Steve Plater and Mick Grant and seeing what they had to say lit a fire inside me!”

See today Wednesday 19th March’s Motorcycle News for all the info, including an exclusive interview with Cameron.
