2008 Hottrax Motorsport Racing Club National

1 of 2

Hottrax Motorsport Racing Club (HMRC) has started outlining their exciting plans for the 2008 National Endurance Championships. This builds on a highly successful inaugural season that saw fast, close racing by teams of all abilities in classes where the majority of title winners were decided at the final round at Silverstone in October.

Machinery classes have been fine tuned after consulting this season’s competitors and for 2008 HMRC have created seven classes; from ProSuperbike to Junior 600 with consideration to affordability and encouraging a wide range of machines to participate.

New for next season is the creation of three championships; National Endurance Championship over 6 or 8 hours, Junior TAG Endurance Championship over 2 or 3 hours and Senior TAG Endurance Championship over 6 or 8 hours.

Dates and venues are yet to be confirmed, six rounds are planned and they may include visits to: Anglesey, Cadwell Park, Snetterton, Pembrey, Silverstone and possibly Oulton Park. Most events will follow a two day format of testing and qualification on day one followed by the race day itself.

Hottrax may well run a track day preceding events which will be open to all.

Further details can be accessed from the website address below. Confirmation is expected soon and more details can be found at http://www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk/
