Race of the Year

Took my daughter Milly to see the Race of the Year at Mallory Park and it really lived up to its name “the friendly circuit”. We were down the pits mixing with likes of Hawk Kawasaki’s Scott Smart and James Haydon! We met the legendery Niall Mackenzie and Rizla Suzuki’s Simon Buckmaster and race winner Cal Crutchlow and of course the modest off track, animal on track Jenny Tinmouth. Wow… she was really ringing that Suzuki’s neck! We saw her feet off the pegs and the bike shaking its head coming out of Devil’s Elbow and almost half way down the start/finish straight… Top effort! We didn’t have a pen for her autograph so she walked all the way back to her motorhome to get a pen to sign Milly’s cap… A true lady champ!
