Ellison to join Parkalgar Honda in WSS?

James Ellison has put the World Supersport rumour mill into overdrive after he was seen by MCN testing a Parkalgar Honda at Mallory Park on Wednesday.

Ellison competed in the British Superbike championship in 2010 but has made no secret about his desire to be racing back on the world stage.

The 30 year old is understood to have impressed the team with his enthusiasm, speed, and feedback on the Parkalgar Honda despite riding in heavy rain.

Tem boss Simon Buckmaster wouldn’t be drawn on whether Ellison could ride for the team in 2011. He said: “At this stage we aren’t in a position to confirm our full rider line-up for 2011. Hopefully we’ll have everything fixed by the end of November.”

Newly crowned British Supersport Champion Sam Lowes has already been confirmed in the squad for 2011.
