Ducati have announced their 2014 WSB plans, with Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano joining the to-be-confirmed team in an attempt to return to winning ways.

Ducati, who announced last week their split with WSB partner Alstare Racing, have yet to confirm who will run the new team, but it is rumoured that Feel Racing, Davies current team and runners of the factory BMW Motorrad squad, will be appointed following the German manufacturer’s withdrawal.

However, in the interim, the new riders will being testing the 1199 Panigale this week at Jerez, with the factory’s own development team.

The new team will be a return to Ducati for Giugliano, who won the 2011 Superstock Championship with the then-factory Althea team, remaining with the team in WSB after their switch to Aprilia, finishing 2013 in 6th.
